We’re All Niggers on Wall Street
I’m writing a history book. This is not a book loaded with statistics backed by detailed research and interviews. It is not a book about a conspiracy theory. It is a book about money. It is a book of observations, reading between the lines, opinions and educated guesses. I’m not going to revise history but I’m painting it a different truer colour.
I’d like to get paid to write this book. You have no idea how much I need the money. But whether I get paid or not doesn’t matter cuz this book is about brigand capitalism and the perversion of freedom and democracy by the big money interests.
I’m writing this book cuz few of my fellow Americans seem to realize that while we’ve been having a Civil War, War with China, Lobster Wars, War on Terror, War on Drugs, War in Iraq, Storage Wars, War on Christmas, Race Wars, Afghanistan War and wars that we don’t even know about; there’s been another war going on.
In nearly all of the wars I listed, and there are many more, there has not been one clear victory in any sense of the word; except maybe some lobsterman got lucky. They are ongoing, some since the 1950s. And they’ve cost Americans on many levels in treasure, blood, legitimacy, moral authority and freedom.
The most popular form of war in America is video war games. But while we were playing our war games, on our “smart”-phones or in Iraq, real or imagined, we were being played in the other war everyone seems to have missed, or neglects to mention….. The Class War.
The Class War is the war between the few hundred purple families and corporations, residents of “Wall Street” and the rest of us. Americans lost the Class War a long time ago. My book is going to kinda stake it out with some common sense thinking. It’s pretty easy to see.
I will propose to show how President Eisenhower’s warning about the military/industrial complex proved prophetic since they took over the United States once-and-for-all during his eight years. I have always wondered if he knew it, why didn’t he stop it? Do generals make bad presidents? I think yes they do.
I wrote and recorded a song and music video called We’re All Niggers on Wall Street. It’s on Vimeo. It was deleted and removed + I was punished with an anti-social strike-one from a bigger video platform. That’s a story in itself and will be a chapter in my book.
